I have to wait until when? | March 17, 2006

I finally finished season 2 of Battlestar Galactica and that ending was the most tragic, depressing thing I have ever seen in my life. I don't want to wait to know what happens, and how everyone even got to where they were at the end of that episode. WHY is Starbuck no longer with the fleet? Why do she and Lee not like each other? Why doesn't she cut her hair anymore?

These are the things I must know, people!

Seriously, though, that was heartbreaking. And after all of the promise the Sharon and Six on Caprica had shown two episodes previously, and then with the priest cylon saying they had made errors, THIS is how they fix them?

The show is in such a dark place right now, it breaks my heart. It is going to feel like forever until we get season 3 (which I think is in October) and get some answers.

My mom just got into Battlestar Galactica and I tease her relentlessly for it :)
She tells me that now that she watches BSG2 (that's what the die-hard fans call it), she’s never at a loss for conversation at work. I tell her that, considering she works with a bunch of software engineers, that's nothing to brag about.

TV Goddess:

How long is it going to take you to realize that Baltar is a cylon?

I'm with you. What a weird ending to a great season.

Did you know I went to school with Starbuck?

Couldn't get into Battlestar Galactica but the boyfriend did.

By the way, I have a my space post coming up any day now...not finished yet, just ideas. However did you know?:)

To me, it wasn't so much the ending that was the painful part... but the year that we've missed. I can't believe that after a year, all these people are still living in tents (I guess this is to show something about Baltar's leadership abilities?).

I've got a rather long post brewing, but I'm still waiting for a couple of people to watch the finale first. All I can say for now was that I'm extremely on-the-fence about this finale. And mostly because of that skipped year.
