Really? That show? | April 25, 2006
The CW, which is not committing to solid, family drama Everwood or riveting mystery Veronica Mars (for obvious reasons: ratings) has decided that it can't quite let 7th Heaven go, apparently.
I don't know if this is some sort of power trip on the part of CW head Dawn Ostroff (former UPN head trying to show she's smarter than former WB head), but it's annoying. And weird. And stupid. If that network makes room for 7th Heaven, and both Veronica Mars and Everwood end up canceled, I will ... cry, at least.
I would say that I would boycott the network, but what kind of goddess would I be if I ignored one network completely? I think that's the public's job anyway, where the WB and UPN are concerned, isn't it?
Oooh ... burn! (Don't worry; the CW totally deserved it.)

It would figure that Veronica Mars would get canceled. I'll just have to try and not take it personally, but DAMMIT, I am tired of shows that I LOVE getting canceled.

It is REALLY time for them to let 7th Heaven go. I don't understand why anyone watches that show!

OK, WHAT? I thought that 7th Heaven was finally dead (only 2 more episodes, right?) But it might not be dead? But VM might be?
I can't take this.
My heart is breaking.

I WILL boycott CW if it ever does. However, rumor has it that GR and GB pitched a solid Season 5 for Everwood. Plus, lots of Everwood campaigning is going around.
I think VM is staying just because they know that the public would go ape-crazy if they forgo the show for 7th Heaven.
I so hope that the 7th Heaven season is truly over. I thought that's the reason why Jessica Biel came back for the finale taping.
But then, who am I to talk. I still am ambivalent about Team Palladino leaving GG.

What...? I thought my poor VM was safe at the CW.
Are there really still people that watch Seventh Heaven? Can we smoke them out of hiding and shame them publicly?

The f-? Seriously, WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? I thought 7 Heaven getting cancelled was sign that things were gonna be okay.

Oh Seventh Heaven. Enough already! I have only seen snippets over the years, but when the youngest ones are talking about marriage and kids? It's time to hang it up.
I commented to your comment on my blog, btw.

Will I even get the CW? I guess I should find out. Not that it matters, because I won't be watching it if there is no VM. I already have a ban in place for The WB, which could easily carry over to this new network.

Is Jessica Biel still on 7th Heaven? If not, give it the axe I say.

What? What? This is wrong. They can't do that to me! Now that I am hooked on Veronica Mars!
