Ricky Gervais, anyone? | May 02, 2006
Show of hands, who subscribes and listens religiously to the Ricky Gervais Show podcast and all variations thereof? I am a full-blown addict. There is not another human being in the wide world so fascinating as Karl Pilkington. Don't believe me? Take a look. Nolan thinks he is in character. Ricky claims he is not. I believe Ricky (that shows you how loyal I am to my own boyfriend, doesn't it?)
The podcast is a riot. It's dangerous to listen anywhere public, but you should listen. The new video podcast is available free at Ricky's web site, and you can buy all past podcasts (both seasons) for a small fee. I am telling you that the laughs they will provide you are worth much more. If you already listen, you know what I'm talking about.
(By the way, I know a podcast is not technically TV, but even Virginia Heffernan wrote about it! So there! Plus, Ricky and Stephen Merchant came up with some little show called The Office.)

I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since you said that it was the funniest thing you've ever heard, ever, EVER (minor paraphrase). I can't wait to check it out. I love Ricky Gervais!!! (And Stephen Merchant is icing on the cake.) :)

I heard Ricky talk about his podcast....but I haven't listened to it. I guess I need to...because he is a laugh riot!!
