Finally feeling some Brotherly love | August 04, 2006
I am supposed to be above this. Viewers are supposed to be able to rely on TV writers to be discerning, to have a refined TV palate.
Why is it, then, that Big Brother 7: All-Stars has become my latest fixation? Read the rest ...

The writers have simply changed. You're now relying on the producers and editors.

Big Brother is such a different show because it can be a 24-hour-a-day thing for the true nut.
I try to watch most of the shows. If I miss them (I probably miss at least one a week) i just read the recaps on realitynewsonline.com. They also post daily updates about what's happening in the live feeds and I usually read those too.
The end result is, I spend more time READING the tv show than WATCHING it. It's very odd. But it works!
So I'm always curious about the people who still strictly WATCH the show and avoid the recaps and live feeds (which I've never seen). Have you stayed traditional and just keep it focused on what's being shown on the broadcasts?
Sidenote: To a point, with the exception of the live evictions and HOH competitions, the episodes become anticlimatic and almost irrelevent for people who have the feeds or even read the updates. You already know most everything that's going to happen. It's like spoilers on steroids!
