I'm looking forward to Studio 60, although from the previews I have this fear Bradley Whitford is going to play Bradley Whitford. And Bradley Whitford is a much better actor than that, but the previews tell another story.

Actors in hugely successful series have always had difficulty with future roles. The so-called Seinfeld Curse has focused recent attention on this issue, but the reality is it's always been prevalent (Gilligan, anyone?)

I'm encouraged to see solid actors like Matthew Perry digging in their heels and proving history wrong. There's hope yet for the upcoming season. Yay!
