Confession: I don't watch Grey's Anatomy | September 25, 2006
Judging from those CSI-defeating numbers, I am the only one not watching Grey's Anatomy. Honestly, it seems too complicated to start now, without watching from the beginning. Is it? I have to say, I'd love to watch almost anything that beats CSI.
In other Grey's news, as those of you in Canada already know, Disney sent the wrong episode to CTV and the network ended up airing episode 2 instead of the season premiere in Canada. How mad would that make you? Read more at the Toronto Star. I think that's actually inexcusable, but there is no quality control. It's not like people can go anywhere else to get their Grey's Anatomy in Canada, right?

With recording devices like DVRs and TiVos, I'm not sure what the big deal is with the ratings war. I watch "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI." Both were great (and it's not too late to watch Grey's). A big problem for me, however, would've come if "The Office" was on a half-hour later and I had to choose among the three.

Please tell me you're watching The Wire. Please.

People in Canada should have tivo'd episode 2, transferred it to dvd and sold bootleg copies of it on ebay to overzealous Grey's Anatomy fans. When life give you lemons, you know?

I gotta agree with Adam. :)
It was an okay episode, I wish that they had just left that baby thing out though.

Canadian here and I am really glad I have digital cable, because I got the Grey's Anatomy I was expecting, and had no idea CTV aired the wrong one. I would have been a little peeved had I seen the second one first, not that it probably made that much of a difference. Other than getting a few back stories, the first episode was rather boring.

F&*^% just gas a long post and deleted it by hitting some odd key ( still getting use to this newer keyboard) and being distracted by Jazz who is walking on my desk.
In short I have now seen 3 ratings numbers for GA. Opener was only OK but good set up for the rest I am sure. Not sure if I prefer shows that pick up where they left off, or when some time elapses.
Really liked GA's replacement Brother's & sister's.

I don't watch GA, either. AND I would like to 2nd Christine's comment. What is the big dealio about numbers in the age of DVRs?

I know for a fact that I am not the only one... but I can't stand that show. One of the most try-hard and oddly pedantic shows ever!
Grey's Anatomy is its own biggest fan... It's not so much that it's complicated, D., it's that it is lame.
Hahahaha!!! I hate it.

I just started watching Grey's Anatomy last week, too! I did have some confusion with names and who was with who, but it's such a good show, I'm already hooked. A friend of mine told me it's his favorite show, so I had to try it out. So far so good!

Gimmie some "House" any day!
Why would you need anything else?

It is funny that you mention this. I have a Sign Language II class on Thursday nights at 6pm. In my class I am only one of two males total. All (and I mean ALL) the women in the class are ALWAYS talking about Grey's Anatomy. They also beg the teacher to let us out before 8pm (central time) so they can watch it; usually the teacher obliges.
