OK, so who watched The Amazing Race on Sunday? (The correct answer, of course, would be all of you.)

I love this season. I think it's going to be so awesome -- even if two very cool teams were eliminated in that first episode. And that first elimination? Made me cry. Both times I watched the episode. So sad for them to have to leave so early.

So, who are your favorites? I honestly like everyone right now except Peter and Sarah. Or, I should say, I don't dislike anyone other than them. But I really love Erwin and Godwin for their inadvertant hilarity ("the homeland" comment was wonderful!), and I love Duke and Lauren. And Lyn and Karlyn.

Thoughts?

I was just shaking my head that there was a pair of cheerleaders and beauty queens...and before I could say anything else I saw the male models.

Who got eliminated? I stopped watching.

My faves are Arti & Vipul (already Philiminated) and Lyn & Karlyn. I didn't like Sarah and Peter either nor Erwin & Godwin. How stupid do you have to be to bring water guns to an airport? Why risk being detained or anything in a race for $1 million. I feel like they're on the show to be on tv. The whole beauty queen thing? Haven't we done that enough? And jeeeezus could they look more processed & identical? Frightening. But at least they weren't fricking CLAPPING and CHEERING every other second... 5-6-7-8 balance... what? They need to 5-6-7-8- STOP CHEERING.

I thought I was going to have to strangle the cheerleaders after their introduction, but that might be my knee-jerk reaction to cheerleaders rearing its ugly head.

I think Duke and Lauren were my favorite during the race, which surprised me, because their intro made him really unappealing to me. Their actual interaction together while racing was much better.

I wondered after one of the pretty girl teams was gushing about how handsome the ex-drug addicts/models were if their reaction would be the same if they knew they'd been drug addicts.

I think we have a lot of the same kinds of teams as we've seen before (lots of young, hot teams, gay couple, older ladies, parent/child, blah blah blah), but there are enough wrinkles to make it interesting throughout the season.

Wait, there is something other than Sunday Night Football on Sunday nights? Who knew?
