Great column, as usual. I don't watch GG (except for a few episodes in reruns every now and again). It's just too much to try to catch up on. I keep telling myself that I'll get the DVD's and just start at the beginning.

I am really happy about the change, truly. At first, I was upset that ASP would pull herself out of the show because she gave WB an ultimatum. The fact that DR has taken over, given its characters new life and that he pretty much has captured the GG banter, I think this will be a good partnership.

Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel have contracts through this season and then who knows? I think this will be the last.
