About Veronica Mars | October 05, 2006
So, we all know from my recent column that I like the direction the new season of Veronica Mars appears to be heading. Do you? Do you think it is accessible at all to new viewers? Are you excited about additions to the opening credits? What did you like most? Least? Are you happy with the direction of the "big mystery"?
And, now, for business: The ratings. According to the futon critic:
Next up was CBS (households: 7.8/12, #2; adults 18-49: 3.6, #3) with fresh installments of "NCIS" (households: 9.7/16, #2; adults 18-49: 4.0, #5), "The Unit" (households: 8.3/13, #T4; adults 18-49: 4.1, #4) and "Smith" (households: 5.6/9, #8; adults 18-49: 2.8, #T8) followed by "Gilmore Girls" (households: 3.3/5, #11; adults 18-49: 2.0, #11) and the season premiere of "Veronica Mars" (households: 2.1/3, #12; adults 18-49: 1.4, #12) on The CW (households: 2.7/4, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #5)."Veronica's" retention of its "Gilmore" lead-in was a troubling 63.63% in households and 70% in adults 18-49.
It's not looking good that we'll get another season -- or even a full third season. But, as with Arrested Development, I guess we are supposed to feel lucky it's lasted this long. Yeah, I really don't.

I like the direction! And I like the credits, too!
Damn, I hope it at least lasts the season particularly since this is a MYSTERY type of show.

I just read this and I'm really excited:
10/05 - Sources confirm to me that Nathan Fillion (Buffy, Firefly) has been cast on Lost! He starts filming the show next week in Hawaii, and will guest star in at least two episodes this season, from what I hear. He will be playing someone from Kate's past. Someone who was VERY close to our beloved Katie -- as in, legally bound and not genetically. Source: Kristin on E!Online

I didn't like the new opening. Sorry. I do like the show. You know that.
It can't be cancelled. IT CAN'T.
Okay, so what can we do to make sure it's not cancelled? TELL ME NOW!!!

I just started watching the DVDs of Veronica Mars (I'm on season two). So, I don't know about the new season. I do know that I love what I see. It's a great show and fills a void that Buffy left for me.
PS: I have a crush on Logan. I can't help myself.
