Continuing that thought ... | October 26, 2006
It really must be sweeps (people, I KNOW it isn't. I'm being sarcastic), because TV this good isn't supposed to happen when it's not, right?
What I'm saying is that I'm back in love with Veronica Mars, I think Gilmore Girls is better than it's been in a long, long time (I confess: I love Lorelai + Christopher), and Jane Seymour was a guest star on How I Met Your Mother How can it not be sweeps?
Seriously, though, I'm glad Veronica got back to investigating the rape on Veronica Mars. I was sad not to see Wallace and Mac, but any episode with Dick in it is fine by me. I heart him. And I think some big strides were made in terms of solving the rape. This solving it in the 13 episodes is going to go SO quickly! I love that. Also, ratings? They're low, but it will get its full-season order. It's doing better than lots of other stuff on the CW. AND it's holding on to its Gilmore Girls lead-in. Especially this week, with the two Logans together in one episode.
Speaking of Gilmore Girls, I didn't used to, but I kind of love Logan now. I don't know why, because he was a bit of a jerk. But I really liked him in this episode. And then, about Christopher? I love him. He and Lorelai are right for each other. They are each other's first loves, they can communicate, he wants to keep her involved/informed. Luke was right that she deserves someone like Christopher, and not even in the way he meant it.
Also, I don't like the April-Luke story line. It BORES me. I think I fell asleep during that stuff two weeks ago. Seriously.
But I love the Emily-gets-arrested story. And everything about the elder Gilmores. And I love Lorelai and Christopher. So, I'm in. Although I will be very mad when they split up to reunite her with Luke. I hope that doesn't happen. Especially because of the marriage rumblings I've been hearing. There supposedly will be many babies and weddings this season, and I think one is Lorelai's and Chris's.

Can you believe I don't watch GG? I know, it's odd.
Dick is pretty funny. He was great this week.

All this talk of great episodes, and nothing about BSG? The best show ever just had its best episode ever (or to this point, at least. Let's not limit it...), and you're talking about Gilmore Girls? ;)

I am so glad that there has been a new life breathed into Gilmore Girls this year. And everyone was afraid it jumped the shark. Look at that. I still hav ea soft spot for Luke, but I can see how Christoher is a catch, too. Decisions, decisions...:)

You are WAY too critical of VM. While some shows may be better than others, its still high quality. So lower your expectations !!
