I am a geek on a whole new level for loving the whole Veronica Mars-meets-Battlestar Galactica moments in the premiere of Veronica Mars as much as I did (it will not be reciprocated, though, I'm afraid, since there is nothing so light-hearted as TV talk coming up on Battlestar Galactica this season. I've seen the first four episodes, and it just gets darker and darker).
Anyway, here are the crossover moments that make the fangirl in me (uh ... that would be ALL OF ME) beam. Thank goodness for people even geekier than I am for putting these on YouTube for us!

You know I don't watch BG-but I did love the joke on VM. I admit to rewinding it and laughing more then once!!
