Thanks to Zoot for directing me to this great interview with Philiminated couple Dave and Mary.

And their clip on The View is terrific. You find out that he actually tried out for Survivor, but they wanted a coal miner on The Amazing Race. Very awesome. And The View gives them all kinds of nice gifts. Here's the clip:
