Sad but inevitable | November 07, 2006

Well, one of my two favorite teams left The Amazing Race on Sunday night, but they took a lot more with them than $1 million. No, really. They learned to appreciate home (Kentucky), but that it's important for their kids to know there is a bigger world out there. I even agree with one of the Guidos. Which can only mean one thing: David and Mary = the great uniters.

I'll admit I shed a tear or two at their amazing elimination speech. And maybe a little because the eeeeeeevil Beauty Queens finished first. Again. If they win, this amazing season is going to end up severely tarnished.

If you're still not watching this show because you're against reality TV ... well, there's nothing I can do to convince you of the show's awesomeness, except to say this: I watch reruns of it almost every day on GSN, even though I've seen every season. That is how good it is.

If you don't start watching after that plea, it's your loss (and a little mine, since it means you don't trust me. Sniff.)
