The Amazing Race ALL STARS!!!! | November 27, 2006

OK, so you've probably all heard by now that season 11 of The Amazing Race will be an all-star edition. And I am SO excited!

My first suggestion would be to start watching the GSN reruns of the show until you've seen any season you might have missed. It's going to be much better if you familiarize yourself with these people. However, it will be awesome even if it's your first season as a viewer.

Now, for the bad news. This (from the article):

... Insiders said Rob and Amber -- who appeared on "Race" after appearing on two editions of "Survivor" -- will be given another shot at the top prize. ...

They are expected to square off against Joyce and Uchenna, their two chief opponents in season seven of "Race."

Also lacing up again: David and Mary, the plain-spoken coalminer and his wife from Kentucky.

Not expected on the "All-Star" race: Jonathan and Victoria, the feuding couple whose antics landed them on a Dr. Phil primetime special. Chip and Kim, two of the most popular former "Race" cast members, won't appear either.

That last sentence there would be the bad news: Chip and Kim won't be back. I have to know WHY!

Here are my picks for the race, if I hadn't read this article (meaning I will NOT include Rob and Amber and I will include Chip and Kim), in order of preference:

(honorable mention: Chip and Kim)

2. Lori and Bolo
(honorable mention: Kris and Jon AND Lena and Kristy)

Season 7:
1. Meredith and Gretchen

(honorable mention: Uchenna and Joyce)

Season 8:
NONE (Family Edition ... blech!)
