Different awards ... same people | January 29, 2007

For the first time in probably 200 years, I didn't watch the Golden Globes OR the Screen Actors Guild Awards (which were last night, if you missed them). They are pretty same-old, same-old anyway (everyone gets the same award). But I'm happy to have missed them all, because I get sick of hearing the same speeches over and over. This time, I'll actually get to hear something new at Oscar time.

That doesn't mean I don't care who won last night. I do. You can find the results at the SAG Awards home page. But I'm nice enough to not make you follow links to other sites (stay HERE, please!) so you can read them below if you're interested (my list copied from TVGuide.com).

Biggest surprise? Little Miss Sunshine winning best ensemble. Is this a predictor of a HUGE upset at Oscar time?
