Rosie vs. Trump | January 09, 2007

Honestly, this saga has been cracking me up, but this letter The Donald wrote to Rosie (coming on the heels of Rosie yelling at Barbara) almost feels ... fake. Or at the least like a publicity stunt (which really didn't help, judging by the ratings for the premiere of The Apprentice on Sunday). But, hey, it's sure making The View more popular. I haven't heard this much about the show ... well, ever.

Has anyone been watching it? I've heard Rosie's actually made it a lot more fun to watch.

well she had it out with barbara this week in the make-up room. Their reps didn;t even deny it. I think both of their egos are too big for NY!

I've watched The View. Remembering it from what it was 10 years ago (which was credible), now is mediocrity at its best. Hasselbeck needs her mouth stapled, Joy Behar needs to get a new schtick, Barbara couldn't be any more naive and Rosie O'Donnell is nothing more than a mouthpiece.

I like Rosie. However, I think this whole thing with Donald is just plain stupid. Both of them need to grow up.

Is the view more tolerable with Rosie on it? Not really. It's like that Robot Chicken episode where all you hear are a gaggle of women clucking. They talk over each other and they cry on the drop of a hat (ie Hasselbeck) if their view wasn't lauded.

Watch it for the first 15 minutes if you want to. Trust me, it's enjoyable if you have NOTHING to watch (including reruns of Will and Grace and Gilmore Girls on ABC family or Lifetime).

I love this feud too. Colbert talked about it last night.

I think it's all a publicity stunt and that rubs me the wrong way.

I had The View on this morning while I was getting ready for work. Nothing but Rosie talking loud and talking over everyone - very annoying. It is more Rosie's show with "friends" and if they just would admit that, I think the show could be better.
