Women ... apparently not funny | January 08, 2007

OK, so I know this is supposed to be a site about television, but I just saw this article and had to inform you all that as of this moment, I declare myself and all women NOT funny. Why? Because Christopher HItchens said so, of course. See for yourself.

I actually think he makes some good points and some of what he says has merit. Except for the fact that he's saying women aren't funny because of having babies. He makes it so black and white: Women love their children and have feelings but no intelligence, men don't love their children or other people and they are intelligent, so men can be funny. Women cannot.

I think someone forgot to tell women this role they're supposed to adopt. Thank goodness Hitchens is here to do so.
