Calvert DeForest, RIP | March 21, 2007
Calvert DeForest, who played Larry "Bud" Melman on Late Night With David Letterman, died Monday at 85.
It's really a shame he wasn't able to bring his character to CBS when Letterman moved, because the show lost something without Bud. (DeForest did appear on Late Show with David Letterman, just not as Bud.)
