Surprise ending | March 11, 2007
I kind of predicted that ending to this latest episode of The Amazing Race (based on those previews), but it was still exciting and shocking to watch it play out. Don't read beyiond the jump or watch this latest video from Elimination Station unless you watched the ending and/or know who was eliminated.
I have never been a big Rob and Amber fan, and I didn't want to see them win this season either (I just don't like The Amazing Race being part of furthering a career in TV; that's not usually what it's about, unlike many other reality shows. So that bugs me.) -- BUT, by the end, I was hoping they'd beat Charla and Mirna for a couple of reasons:
1. Charla and Mirna bug me worse than any other team on the race.
2. Rob and Amber can be irritating, but they are good racers and good competition and it's fun to watch them race -- as long as they don't win the $1 million.

i was sure that this wouldn't be an elimination leg but was happily surprised that karma got rob and amber in the end ... even though charla and mirna suck.

Being a Rob and Amber fan, I actually thought it was so funny that they were eliminated, after having won the first three legs! I just kept laughing about it. But I much rather would have seen Charla and Mirna be eliminated, just because they annoy me so much! Hopefully they will be gone next week.

The race loses a bit without Rob and Amber, but their downfall -- bad spelling -- was great. And is it just me, or is the editing of the show much more snarky this season? I love it.
