I was pretty happy with most of it, but the three minute conversation between Linderman and Nathan made me want to give the show up completely.
It is an almost verbatim ripoff of a conversation between two key characters in The Watchmen (the best graphic novel of the past 20 or so years). And the plan? Identical. The only thing that's different is the delivery method. One's a bomb, one's a lifeform... read it and see if you aren't equally pissed.
I was happy with the outcome of the fight. It really couldn't have gone any other way- Peter just isn't able to take on Sylar (yet, I guess). He has no confidence, and just isn't a fighter. That said... some things about the fight really did bother me. Like- when Sylar lifted the glass shards... why did Peter not simply 'push' them at Sylar? And if he was for some reason unable, why the hell did he stay on the ground rather than fly up to and press against the ceiling? In the end, it doesn't really matter. The outcome was going to be the same regardless.
It did bother me that no one seemed to notice the glass shoved into Peter's skull, but that's ok. The oddest thing about the episode, I thought, was that it's apparently ok in NYC to flag down and ride in a cab with a dead body. Who knew?
I don't think Linderman is the father to Peter or Nathan. I think Mommy dearest has powers but I don't think she canoodled with Mr.L. I have a feeling she knows why her hubby got snuffed but won't tell the boys. Me thinks her powers is seeing the future but not bending it like Hiro?
I was upset that there wasn't much Hiro action but we know he's the meat and potatoes of the show so I know Tim Kring would make up for the lack of show this time around.
As for the Niki/Jessica dynamic, I haven't been a fan of it since day one so they can do away with her. Micah still has some potential. DL also has a purpose but they need to write him in better than a loser on the side.
Am I sad that Isaac is gone? Yes and no. He could only carry the show so far and I think him being killed by Sylar is great. It's like giving the map to the enemy.

Eh, additional riders are free in NYC taxis.
