I agree that the Jim/Pam stuff is reaching the point where I wish it had never even started to begin with. I think that I've always disagreed with you about Jenna Fischer though. I thought that her camera acknowledgment, especially early on, was part of what gave the show the feel it needed. I loved it when Jim started acknowledging the camera, too, because I think he started after Pam, and in my own internal story of the show, he started doing it as a result of their being friends. He was picking up her behavior.

Then find happiness at my blog. Heehee.
Here's something also as amusing (or so I hope). I know I did.

You know... I love the office. No matter what. I was glad that Pam finally stood up for herself and spoke her mind. There have been funnier episodes, but I still enjoyed this one.

Oh, I didn't mind it all that much... but then again I am a pretty big Pam fan, so you can't make me budge too much on that. My sense is she was just holding it all in so much and for so long, that she just exploded... I agree uncharacteristically... but maybe that was the point. The totally "out of character" thing that DOES bother me about the show is the whole Jan-Michael thing.

I was disappointed in this week's episode of The Office, but not because of the Pam/Jim dynamic, but because this episode was short on the funny. Frankly, I didn't find much funny about letting someone fall onto hot coals and fire, and then dismissing it afterwards. A little too harsh in my opinion. Even if one found that funny, I'm not sure where one would find the rest of the funny. I'm sure the finale will be much better.

DeAnn - are you watching My Name is Earl??? If you aren't, you should. This week's finale is as good as TV can get. The finale was near perfect in every way - very funny, but forces a tear too, makes you think, well written, great acting, and awesome set-up for next season. I was fully satisfied, and haven't seen a finale of a sitcom this good since Chandler proposed to Monica at the end of Season 6 of friends.

We haven't talked about Scrubs yet. Have you watched it? Dumb frick is my new favorite insult.

I kept telling people how awesome this episode was..."except for the Pam stuff!" Yeah, that part was lame and felt too contrived.
But Andy floating off in the background? AWESOME.
**possible spoiler**
Am I the only one that is like "they will get together" because I know Tim and Dawn did in the BBC version? It's like I know the ending, so I don't care about the middle?!

In addition to Andy floating off in the background, I loved the sumo wrestling. Stanley's face when he's attacking Jim is priceless.
