There has been speculation that this was more of a publicity ploy than a journalistic stand (they just happened to have a camera pointed at the shredder?), but this clip of MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski refusing to report on Paris Hilton has been generating a lot of buzz.

Anderson Cooper also has been totally bummed out about the nonstop coverage, but seeing as he spoke just before CNN went to Larry King's highly hyped interview, his words carry a little less weight.

So, is this the new tack? Talk about Paris by refusing to talk about Paris?
