A book about TV that I've read recently is "Desperate Networks." It's a behind-the-scenes look at the rise of CBS and ABC, the fall of NBC, and stories behind Lost, Desperate Housewives, CSI, and all the other shows we've grown to love. I believe it was written by the guy who wrote that book about the Leno/Letterman competition back in the 90's.
