Hillary Clinton to visit The Daily Show With Jon Stewart | February 29, 2008

Sure, I would have rather she (or Barack Obama) show up on The Colbert Report, but how cool is it when an actual, serious presidential candidate will show up and chat with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show? So ... good for Hillary Clinton (who will appear on Monday's episode).

Comedy Central's press release says:

NEW YORK, February 29, 2008 -- Senator Hillary Clinton will make an appearance as a guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Monday, March 3 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT). This will mark the Senator's second appearance on "The Daily Show," but her first since announcing her candidacy for the Democratic nomination. Clinton previously appeared as a guest on the show on October 8, 2003.

I know Mike Huckabee goes on Colbert from time to time (because of the Colbert bump, obviously), and John McCain used to go on The Daily Show fairly frequently, but I don't think he has since he's actually been running.

Anyway, it's Barack Obama's turn to step up. So ... Obama, get thee to The Colbert Report AND The Daily Show, STAT!
