If you're wondering what happens when the strike's over, lucky for you, I blogged about it. Check it out, as always.

Idiot Box won't let me log in to post a comment so: The strike MIGHT be about to end. As of earlier this evening, the lawyers still had not finished drafting the terms of agreement in order for the membership to be able to study them before Saturday's meetings. While Guild leadership reportedly will be recommending acceptance of the terms, the membership can indicate otherwise, in which case the strike doesn't end.

If, after Saturday's meetings, it seems likely that the membership will ratify the agreement when put to a days-long vote, the Board likely will call off the strike on Sunday and the writers return to work on Monday.

But none of that is "strike's over" until and unless the membership agrees.

You know, i hate to say it...but I haven't minded the strike too much in terms of TV viewing. I am wondering how the strikers are faring and how businesses are affected, but as for watching TV...it's made me concentrate on my ph.D. work. Who knew?
