I've been writing about TV (and movies) | November 16, 2008

No need to worry: I haven't stopped watching TV or anything crazy like that. I've just been busy writing about TV over at Television Without PIty and movies at Movies Without Pity, so I haven't had time to write here.

I've been told to at least post links here to what I'm writing elsewhere, so I'll start doing that. For now, here's the latest (what I wrote over there in the past week):

Reviews of Movies We Haven't Seen (read: reviews based on trailers, buzz, press, etc.). The latest are Dostana, The Dukes, A Christmas Tale and Quantum of Solace.

That's all the movie writing I did last week, though there's much more to come this week.

On the TV side, I wrote a few weecaps last week:

Desperate Housewives: "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" -- It's mostly all about sex this week: Jackson's trying to get it, but Susan wants to wait. Bree and Orson do it in the test kitchen. Coincidentally, so do Mike and Katherine. Not at the same time, thankfully. Oh, and a surveillance camera catches it all. Gaby and Carlos aren't doing it, but they're being controlled by the woman Carlos gives orgasmic massages to, so that sort of counts. But there are also some lies, since Creepy Dave still exists, and Mrs. McCluskey is still trying to uncover his secrets.

Chuck: "Quick, Everybody Kiss Chuck!" -- Chuck gets two hot, sexy kisses from his ex-girlfriend, Jill, and one less hot, less sexy but even more awesome one from Casey. Or, more accurately, Chuck plants it on Casey, despite Casey's vehement attempts to resist.

My Name Is Earl: "It's Earl and Joy's World; Darnell's Just Living In It" -- Earl and Joy have been broken up since this show began, yet we get another episode about their relationship. Meanwhile, Darnell, Joy’s HUSBAND, spends the episode trapped in a phone booth with a bunch of other also-rans.
