I have been very busy lately, hence not updating the blog. And by busy I mean:
1. Watching Big Brother. Obviously. Finale's on Sunday! Also: Bye, bye stupid Natalie:
2. Writing lots of stuff over at Movies Without Pity. Particularly, writing this blog and stuff for this blog and this blog.
3. Working at my regular job, which recently included editing this very cool interview with Bruce Campbell. Read it. It's awesome.
4. Planning my wedding. Which is sooner than I like to think about.

Women ... apparently not funny | January 08, 2007
OK, so I know this is supposed to be a site about television, but I just saw this article and had to inform you all that as of this moment, I declare myself and all women NOT funny. Why? Because Christopher HItchens said so, of course. See for yourself.
I actually think he makes some good points and some of what he says has merit. Except for the fact that he's saying women aren't funny because of having babies. He makes it so black and white: Women love their children and have feelings but no intelligence, men don't love their children or other people and they are intelligent, so men can be funny. Women cannot.
I think someone forgot to tell women this role they're supposed to adopt. Thank goodness Hitchens is here to do so.

More fun than TV | May 10, 2006
Guess what I was doing Tuesday night instead of watching TV and/or updating my blog? Here's a hint. Photographic evidence to come later.
I did get to watch about 10 minutes of TV today for the first time in almost two weeks. Sadly, I almost could not peel myself away from the remote and the E! News and Access Hollywood that it offered me.

I don't deserve this title | May 01, 2006
So, I will be doing what any good TV Goddess would do during sweeps: I am going on vacation to the East Coast starting TOMORROW. I will try to update as often as possible, but I can't guarantee anything. (You know I'll have to post about Veronica Mars, and other finales that happen while I'm away, of course.)
For now, I will remind you to watch How I Met Your Mother tonight, because the finale is only two weeks away (after that ... lots of new summer shows. Zap2it's TV Gal talks a little about those .)

I'm spoiled | December 24, 2005
Nolan got me an iPod for Christmas. I am in LOVE ... with the iPod. (And Nolan, of course.)
Also, yes, I opened my gift two days early. Shut up.
